Here's the rest;



1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.



2. Allow the engine to cool, then drain the engine cooling system to a level below the water outlet housing.



3. Remove 2 water outlet housing retaining bolts and slide the housing with the hose attached to one side.



4. Remove the thermostat and gasket.



To install:



5. Clean the gasket sealing surfaces.



6. Install the thermostat with the bridge (opposite end of the spring) inside the elbow connection. Ensure that the notch is properly positioned.



7. Coat a new housing gasket with water resistant sealer and position it on the water outlet connection. Ensure that the notch is properly positioned.



8. Place the water outlet connection on the lower intake manifold and install 2 retaining bolts. Tighten the bolts to 103 inch lbs. (12 Nm).



9. Fill the engine cooling system.



10. Connect the negative battery cable.



11. Start the engine and allow it to reach normal operating temperature while checking for coolant leaks.



12. Road test the vehicle and check for proper engine operation.
