I believe you're talking about the same housing were the thermostat sits in , those aren't hard to replace , just un-clamp the hose going to it , unbolt the housing , then clean the surface on the engine that the housing connects to , clean the housing and make sure that both surfaces are fully dry ,clean the housing were the house clamps onto it , replace the clamp with a new hose clamp when reattaching the hose ,then use a silicone high temperature gasket maker , follow its instructions , make you you tighten up the two bolts enough to force the gasket silicone out some around the edges.
Hope that helps and best of luck.By the way you might be able to find that part at a big U pick auto wreckers for quite cheap like 10 to 20 bucks or so and I'am sure that several different models and years of Dodges use the exact same part.2003 dodge intrepid 2.7 how to change thermostat bleeder valve housing?
I take it yours is leaking around the bleeder.it is quite common. at one time you could remove the 4 mounting bolts on top and 2 screws in the front and pull it out the transfer tube.the new ones have a long tube and the upper intake manifold has to come off to change it.
